Assessing sites for offshore wind developments goes beyond simply measuring the characteristics of the wind; developers must also take into account the characteristics of waves, currents, seabed, wildlife and other commercial users of the space. This pre-conference workshop will examine the various factors that need to be evaluated for offshore projects, as well as potential resources to tap in this task.
