DON'T MISS THE MEET & GREET WITH MEMBERS OF THE
NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR ADVANCED BIOFUELS & BIOPRODUCTS
Tuesday, May 18, 2010, 5:30pm
For questions regarding this Meet & Greet please contact: Jose A. Olivares, LANL Biofuels Program Lead, NAABB Executive Director, 505.665.5190, olivares@lanl.gov
Join the National Alliance for Advanced Biofuels and Bioproducts (NAABB) Consortium members, DOE’s newest and largest research effort in algal biofuels, to discuss NAABB objectives and visions for future development and collaboration for the industry.
To join this no-host Meet & Greet meet in the Hilton Del Mar’s Polo Lounge immediately following the program on Tuesday, May 18th.
The mission of NAABB is to lay the technical foundations for a scalable, responsible and affordable renewable biofuels industry. As a National Alliance, NAABB incorporates technical expertise in algal biology and cultivation for various growth ecosystems such as arid and temperate inland, coastal, and off-shore environments; in addition to a historical commitment to sustainable agriculture and rural economic development. The goal is to capitalize on this broad base to develop new innovative technologies throughout the complete algal biofuels production chain that can be brought rapidly into commercialization efforts. This goal will lead to long-term political and socio-economic benefits through a distributed, sustainable, post-petroleum renewable fuel economy.
