Agenda
Each of the three events are designed to provide in-depth analysis of the issues decision makers will need to respond to in this rapidly changing era.
Because two events occur on the same day, September 14, an individual may register for only one of these events in addition to the Finance & Investment Summit on September 15-16. However, though you will be signed up for one event, you may travel freely between the two events, ensuring that you have access to the information you are most interested in.

Utility Scale Solar Technology &
Implementation Forum
September 14; 8:00am - 5:30pm
Solar power generation technologies, and their implementation at utility scale, are the focus of the Utility Scale Solar Technology & Implementation Forum. With utility scale solar technologies moving from lab to fab to commercialization, from seeking venture funding to searching for project financing, the Forum will provide a timely state for technology developers to inform potential investors and offtakers about their technologies at the point of best-in-class deployment. In one day, in a fast-paced series of company briefings, participants will be able to hear first hand about each company's technology, experience, and future plans. The companies will then gather in a series of three panels which will explore how the market and particularly utilities, as the ultimate arbiters of technological worthiness, will treat the various solar technologies all vying for roll-out in the U.S.

Utility Scale Solar Finance & Investment Summit
September 14-16, 2009
The pipeline for utility scale solar projects continues to skyrocket and so does the investment requirements of this hot renewable energy sector. The CSP sector alone is estimated to demand $80 billion over the next decade. Yet, this remarkable growth in the project pipeline is taking place during difficult financial times and the ability to successfully finance these projects has become a vital challenge in moving these projects to completion.
The Utility Scale Solar Finance & Investment Summit is the major gathering place where the industry and the financial community come together to explore the financing of utility scale solar projects. The Summit provides an important opportunity for these groups to exchange market intelligence, share perspectives, build a mutual understanding and to discuss what it will take to successfully finance the capital-intensive utility-scale solar industry.
The Summit will bring together a stellar lineup of speakers to provide their insights into the dynamic impacts of the financial crisis and the ARRA on the strategies and requirements of developers, utilities, investors, and lenders and then explore the opportunities for accessing government support, employing new deal structures and crafting new strategies to get projects successfully financed.
