The Pre-Summit Workshop:
RECs, Carbon and Renewable Electricity Project Finance Monday, May 7, 2007:
The renewable marketplace is rapidly maturing, with approximately half of the States in the U.S. under some type of Renewable Portfolio Standard. This program will not only review the latest REC and RPS markets, but will focus on the many factors that contribute to a successful renewable energy project and some of the different financial strategies employed by developers.
Additionally, with the emergence of Carbon trading, we will explore what these markets may look like and the likely interplay between renewables markets and carbon markets.
