Shell Renewables & Energy Solutions

Shell Renewables and Energy Solutions, Offshore Wind Americas: Shell established its New Energies division, now renamed Renewables and Energy Solutions, in 2016 to address the world’s changing energy system. Shell is investing in more, lower-carbon technology. This includes renewables such as wind and solar, new mobility options such as electric vehicle charging and hydrogen and an interconnected power business that will provide electricity to millions of homes, companies and businesses. Shell Renewables and Energy Solutions focuses on two main areas: new fuels for transport, such as advanced biofuels and hydrogen; and power, being involved at almost every stage of the process, from generating electricity, to buying and selling it, to supplying it directly to customers. Shell aims to make electricity a significant part of its business. Shell’s Renewables and Energy Solutions business is seeking to leverage the company’s strengths in fast-growing and commercial parts of the energy industry.
